Sucre à la crème (Sugar and cream) has been made in remembrance of my grand mother dessert she made every Christmas. Its a loosely woven scarf very fluffy and warm. You can wear it in multiple ways or simply just fold it and pass the fringes trough the loop as show on photos.
CARE: keep that scarf in a ventilated area. Spray with essential oils water mist to refresh the fibres or use a clothes steamer.
HOW MANY SKEINS?
1 skeins: mittens wrists, accents in a hat, or in weaving, needle and wet felting
2 skeins: beanie hat, texture in a knitted scarf, cowl, neck warmer
3 skeins: short knitted or woven scarf (loose)
4 skeins: long woven scarf (woven loose), knitted scarf, small woven triangular shawl, knitted shawl
5 skeins: medium woven triangular scarf, medium woven triangular shawl
6-9 skeins: medium large triangular woven shawl, knitted shawl
9 skeins and up: small medium sweater
TIPS
Alternate rows of heavy textured art yarns with single or smoother yarns, it will keep the work lighter and showcase the texture contrasts
NEEDLES
I use Prym circular needles, because they have a special tip shape helping pick up stitches of art yarns. I also use Prym ergonomic hooks, they are amazing.
