This is a unique sleeveless jacket made of very intricate patchwork ! I use old sweaters, old wool blankets, old trousers, I felt and crocheted with the yarn I spun, and weaved the main part with a very special yarn: the one I spin with my neighbor sheep fleece, its very rustic but it has such a sentimental value because its the very first yarn I spun...And I fused all those layers with hours of quilting :) the felt is made using karakul, its a rare breed here in canada, very special, like hair!
Sizing
Model bust 36” hips 38” height 5’2”
Vest once closed with button is 40” bust, fits loose, and stretch a bit, moving the button will help to adjust the size if required
Back length is 32”
This vest fits loose, hips are free, waist is estimated to 40”

HOW MANY SKEINS?
1 skeins: mittens wrists, accents in a hat, or in weaving, needle and wet felting
2 skeins: beanie hat, texture in a knitted scarf, cowl, neck warmer
3 skeins: short knitted or woven scarf (loose)
4 skeins: long woven scarf (woven loose), knitted scarf, small woven triangular shawl, knitted shawl
5 skeins: medium woven triangular scarf, medium woven triangular shawl
6-9 skeins: medium large triangular woven shawl, knitted shawl
9 skeins and up: small medium sweater
TIPS
Alternate rows of heavy textured art yarns with single or smoother yarns, it will keep the work lighter and showcase the texture contrasts
NEEDLES
I use Prym circular needles, because they have a special tip shape helping pick up stitches of art yarns. I also use Prym ergonomic hooks, they are amazing.
