This yarn is the one I make for knitting my big scarves! It’s a core spun single, with thick spirals popping here and there, which will create special effects in your knitting.
This yarn contains eco wool, which means cruelty free and without harsh chemical and mecanical treatment
I dont use merino wool, Im trying to revalorise all the others breeds of sheeps less known or neglected.

Cette laine artistique est celle que j’utilise pour tricoter mes grandes écharpes! Elle est filée de grosses spirales qui donneront un effet special a vos tricots.
Cette laine contient de la laine écologique, ce qui veut dire quelle na pas été traitée avec des produits chimiques (ni les moutons), n’a pas été préparée avec des procédés mécaniques dommageables et que les moutons sont élevés sans cruauté.

Je n’utilise pas de mérinos, j’essaie de revaloriser les autres races de moutons à laine qui sont mis de côté ou délaissés.

HOW MANY SKEINS?
1 skeins: mittens wrists, accents in a hat, or in weaving, needle and wet felting
2 skeins: beanie hat, texture in a knitted scarf, cowl, neck warmer
3 skeins: short knitted or woven scarf (loose)
4 skeins: long woven scarf (woven loose), knitted scarf, small woven triangular shawl, knitted shawl
5 skeins: medium woven triangular scarf, medium woven triangular shawl
6-9 skeins: medium large triangular woven shawl, knitted shawl
9 skeins and up: small medium sweater
TIPS
Alternate rows of heavy textured art yarns with single or smoother yarns, it will keep the work lighter and showcase the texture contrasts
NEEDLES
I use Prym circular needles, because they have a special tip shape helping pick up stitches of art yarns. I also use Prym ergonomic hooks, they are amazing.
