Here a large lot of art yarns singles left overs from previous creations and custom orders plus one large pink skein originally spun to fit in my addi knitting machine but I changed yarn. total 10.8 oz. Mostly merino with a bit of tencel seacell sill angelina and curls.
All my fibre is dyeeld from scratch and spun no commercially dyed roving.
I ship once a week. Tracking is included on all orders no exceptions.
HOW MANY SKEINS?
1 skeins: mittens wrists, accents in a hat, or in weaving, needle and wet felting
2 skeins: beanie hat, texture in a knitted scarf, cowl, neck warmer
3 skeins: short knitted or woven scarf (loose)
4 skeins: long woven scarf (woven loose), knitted scarf, small woven triangular shawl, knitted shawl
5 skeins: medium woven triangular scarf, medium woven triangular shawl
6-9 skeins: medium large triangular woven shawl, knitted shawl
9 skeins and up: small medium sweater
TIPS
Alternate rows of heavy textured art yarns with single or smoother yarns, it will keep the work lighter and showcase the texture contrasts
NEEDLES
I use Prym circular needles, because they have a special tip shape helping pick up stitches of art yarns. I also use Prym ergonomic hooks, they are amazing.
