New Fairy poncho freshly made for true dedicated wool collector 💕 Made to feel warm and cozy this winter. I spun all the yarn to make this poncho, there is no commercial yarns, just real wool and alpaca hand knitted here in Quebec. Hours and hours of work. All my garments are washed and settled. If you need to refresh you can use lavender water spray. If washing is necessary just soak a few minutes in cold water with a drop of soap, NO agitation. Remove water excess using your spin cycle of you washing machine. Lay flat to dry, no hanging.* fairy headband and skirt not included.
HOW MANY SKEINS?
1 skeins: mittens wrists, accents in a hat, or in weaving, needle and wet felting
2 skeins: beanie hat, texture in a knitted scarf, cowl, neck warmer
3 skeins: short knitted or woven scarf (loose)
4 skeins: long woven scarf (woven loose), knitted scarf, small woven triangular shawl, knitted shawl
5 skeins: medium woven triangular scarf, medium woven triangular shawl
6-9 skeins: medium large triangular woven shawl, knitted shawl
9 skeins and up: small medium sweater
TIPS
Alternate rows of heavy textured art yarns with single or smoother yarns, it will keep the work lighter and showcase the texture contrasts
NEEDLES
I use Prym circular needles, because they have a special tip shape helping pick up stitches of art yarns. I also use Prym ergonomic hooks, they are amazing.
