This tutorial will show you how to make the hat shown on the photo, with the folds and tips how to make them defined and hold well. This hat also has a different brim, rolled inside. Besides this, I show you how to do a gradation of colors and play with transparency and contrast in felt within the layers. I also included a 10 min bonus video at the end showing another hat I made with small technical differences. The videos are showing the entire process of making this hat.

*This project is for advanced beginners, it is easier than the hat with a large brim, or the rolled brim.*

You will do better with a head form or block of some sort to make the folds. You can do without, you will have more texture and less definition in the folds.

The video IS BILINGUAL english and french, I switch language in the video. It does not matter because while I talk in another language you can still watch me doing the work. . There is NO captions.

The tutorial IS divided in 12 short clips like my others tutorials. The total length of videos is about 1h30.
