Patreon is a platform made to support artists generally in exchange of something. The way I'm using it currently is in exchange of a subscription of 8$ per month you have access to exclusive live stream and youtube videos of me creating. You can participate to live streams and ask all the questions you want,if you can't join the live then you could watch the replay and ask your questions after...and also watch the youtube videos. I'm currently using Periscope app to stream live but I'm moving to facebook live streaming in a group I created for Patreon members. I still film dye processes and things I can't stream live and upload them on youtube (usually 1 per week).
This form of support is currently helping to purchase dyes, fleeces, tools and equipment. In the future I hope to be able to offer you different levels of engagement and rewards, but the group need to grow first.
In this very moment I'm trying to save to buy a powerful iPad to write electronic books...I don't mind the kind of iPad but I want it to have a minimum of 64 gigs, so that runs around 600$cad...So now you see where I'm going with this Patreon platform.
I have much more projects in mind but in short therms this is what I want to do.
