A bold colorful scarf made of wool that will keep you warm and will make heads turn! All hand woven by me with the yarn I spun. Long enough to make 2 wraps or one with a knot. All my scarves are washed and pre shrunk to show the real texture of the wool and avoid surprises after your first wash.
Care: hand wash in a cold water bowl no agitation and hang to dry.
A note about photos: in winter the snow make the colours way more blue, please consider that the more accurate colours are the ones taken with the dark wood background, taken with indirect light outside.
i don’t use merino wool, Im trying to revalorise all the others breeds of sheeps less known or neglected.
Un grand foulard chaud plein de couleurs qui fera tourner les têtes! Entièrement tissé à la main avec la laine que je file. Assez long pour faire 2 tours comme sur la photo ou un seul pour faire un noeud. Tous mes foulards ont été lavés et pre rétrécis pour montrer la vraie texture de la laine et vous éviter des surprises lors de votre premier lavage.
Soin: laver dans un bol d’eau froide sans agiter et suspendre pour sécher.
Note au sujet des photos: la neige en hiver rend les photos beaucoup plus bleutées, malgré tous mes soins pour montrer les vraie couleurs, les photos avec le fond en bois foncé représentent les couleurs les plus réelles, puisque prises à l’extérieur mais en lumière indirecte.
Je n’utilise pas de mérinos, j’essaie de revaloriser les autres races de moutons à laine qui sont mis de côté ou délaissés.

1 skeins: mittens wrists, accents in a hat, or in weaving, needle and wet felting
2 skeins: beanie hat, texture in a knitted scarf, cowl, neck warmer
3 skeins: short knitted or woven scarf (loose)
4 skeins: long woven scarf (woven loose), knitted scarf, small woven triangular shawl, knitted shawl
5 skeins: medium woven triangular scarf, medium woven triangular shawl
6-9 skeins: medium large triangular woven shawl, knitted shawl
9 skeins and up: small medium sweater
TIPS
Alternate rows of heavy textured art yarns with single or smoother yarns, it will keep the work lighter and showcase the texture contrasts
NEEDLES
I use Prym circular needles, because they have a special tip shape helping pick up stitches of art yarns. I also use Prym ergonomic hooks, they are amazing.
