Finally a ready to ship shawl :) It was supposed to be a large shawl and then I turned it into a small poncho/cape all in sweet pastels colours for spring! All made of the yarn I spun with a lot of care about the texture. 3 big vintage buttons are closing the front.

Ce châle a été entièrement crocheté avec la laine que je file. C’est une pièce unique, je n’en fais que 2 ou 3 par année. Il est léger même s’il pèse 1 kg de laine. Les trois boutons devant sont vintage. C’est une pièce indémodable, que vous pourrez porter pendant nos fraîches soirées, ou pour chauffer vos épaules lors d’une occasion spéciale.

HOW MANY SKEINS?
1 skeins: mittens wrists, accents in a hat, or in weaving, needle and wet felting
2 skeins: beanie hat, texture in a knitted scarf, cowl, neck warmer
3 skeins: short knitted or woven scarf (loose)
4 skeins: long woven scarf (woven loose), knitted scarf, small woven triangular shawl, knitted shawl
5 skeins: medium woven triangular scarf, medium woven triangular shawl
6-9 skeins: medium large triangular woven shawl, knitted shawl
9 skeins and up: small medium sweater
TIPS
Alternate rows of heavy textured art yarns with single or smoother yarns, it will keep the work lighter and showcase the texture contrasts
NEEDLES
I use Prym circular needles, because they have a special tip shape helping pick up stitches of art yarns. I also use Prym ergonomic hooks, they are amazing.
