It is supple and malleable. I do not use stiffener. Model is 21” head circumference. The larger you head circumference is, the higher this hat will sit, which is ok with this style. Please keep in mind felt can stretch a little with time.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe color variations on this hat are made from scratch. I use roving I dye and draw on my felt, layering colors. There is no short cuts. I do not use commercially made fabrics or felt or paper to create this.
